Who is the intended audience for this conference?
The UEN Tech Summit is designed for K-12 and higher education IT professionals, network administrators, educators who support technology, IT leaders, and industry partners who work in or support educational technology.
What types of sessions are you looking for?
We welcome a wide variety of technology‑focused presentations that support K–12 education, IT operations, strategic planning, and innovation. Suggested proposal topics include:
- Network performance optimization
- Cybersecurity best practices
- Managing student and educator devices
- Wireless infrastructure upgrades
- Data privacy and compliance
- Cloud services and storage solutions
- Incident response and disaster recovery
- AI tools in education
- IT leadership and strategic planning
- Tools for remote and hybrid learning environments
- Industry insights and vendor spotlights
Presenters are also welcome to propose topics outside this list if they relate to educational technology or IT support.
How long are session presentations?
All breakout sessions are 50 minutes in length.
Are vendor or partner presentations allowed?
Yes. Industry partners and vendors are welcome to submit proposals. Exhibitors (vendors) who are tabling at the conference will receive one presentation slot and must submit the Call for Proposal form to secure it.
Is there a limit to the number of proposals I can submit?
No. Individuals or teams may submit multiple proposals. Each will be evaluated independently.
What is the review process?
All proposals are reviewed by the UEN Tech Summit committee based on:
- Relevance to educational technology and IT support
- Clarity and quality of the proposal
- Presenter expertise or experience
- Balance across session topics and tracks
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status by email.
Do presenters receive free registration?
The main presenter will receive complimentary conference registration; additional presenters must register at the standard rate.
